ABOUT THE COMPANY: 🏢Product iGaming company with high-load infrastructure and frequent releases. We are transforming from a fast-growing startup into a mature engineering organization. The development team has over 30 people, and the product is transitioning to a new architecture.

ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead Platform / DevOps / SRE to lead the platform team. The task is not only to ensure infrastructure stability but also to develop the platform as an internal product: unified engineering approaches, golden paths, and reusable solutions instead of fragmented processes across different teams.

The role combines technical leadership, team management, and active participation in platform development.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Team Development (≈30% of time) 💻Develop engineers through regular feedback, mentoring, and individual development plans 💻Participate in hiring and building a strong platform team 💻Define technical standards and monitor their compliance 💻Manage priorities between requests from product teams and platform development 💻Formulate and implement the platform development roadmap

2. Platform Development (≈70% of time) 💻Develop golden paths and reusable modules (Terraform, Helm) for rapid service deployment 💻Develop and maintain the platform based on AWS and Kubernetes 💻Develop CI/CD as a platform product: unified GitLab CI templates, GitOps approach to deployment 💻Develop observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager, distributed tracing 💻Develop network architecture and security: VPC, VPN, load balancing, secrets management 💻Implement SRE practices: SLO, error budgets, effective on-call process 💻Reduce time-to-production and lower cognitive load on development teams

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: 📌Experience in leading a team of DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineers 📌Hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3) 📌Experience operating Kubernetes in production (Helm, Ingress, StatefulSets, Operators) 📌Daily work with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm 📌Experience in building CI/CD (GitLab CI or similar) and understanding the GitOps approach 📌Good understanding of network technologies: TCP/IP, L4/L7 load balancing, VPN, container networking 📌Proficient Linux administration, performance and network diagnostics (strace, perf, tcpdump) 📌Bash and Python at the level of writing automation tools 📌Experience in building engineering processes, standards, and scaling a platform team

WILL BE A PLUS: ⭐Hands-on experience with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux) ⭐OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing ⭐Secrets management solutions (Vault, SOPS, AWS Secrets Manager) ⭐Mature SRE practices: SLO, error budgets, building on-call processes ⭐FinOps experience in AWS ⭐Working with stateful services in Kubernetes (PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and operators)
