We are a product iGaming company with a high development speed, regular releases, and a dynamic infrastructure that is constantly evolving with the product.
The company is currently undergoing an important transformation phase: from a "grown-up startup" to a mature enterprise organization. Our development team consists of over 30 specialists, and the product is in the process of a large-scale architectural transformation and transition to new technological solutions.
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help us transition from infrastructure that is manually created and maintained for each team — to creating it as a product with convenient services and tools for product developers to work independently.
This role is suitable for those who are interested in creating processes and standards from scratch, rather than working exclusively in an already established environment.
Your Area of Responsibility
- Develop golden paths and reusable modules (Terraform, Helm) — so that a new service can be launched in an hour, not a week;
- Maintain AWS (this is our primary cloud) and Kubernetes as the foundation of the platform;
- Make CI/CD a product: unified pipeline templates in GitLab CI, GitOps approach to deployment;
- Enhance observability — Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager. Currently, it's basic, we want out-of-the-box for all teams + to add tracing;
- Develop the platform's network and security: VPC, VPN, load balancing, secrets;
- Reduce time-to-production and cognitive load on developers — measure, improve, repeat.
What's Important to Us
- AWS at the level of "I understand how the services I use are structured" — EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3;
- Kubernetes in production: Helm, operators, ingress, StatefulSets;
- Terraform + Ansible + Helm as daily tools, not a hobby;
- GitLab CI (or comparable experience with other CI) + understanding of GitOps;
- Networking: TCP/IP, L4/L7 load balancing, VPN, container networking. At a level where you can debug why a packet didn't arrive;
- Linux at the level of an experienced administrator — strace, perf, tcpdump are not scary words for you;
- Bash and Python at the level of "I write tools, not copy from StackOverflow".
It Will Be a Plus
- GitOps in production (ArgoCD / Flux);
- Experience with IDP (Backstage / Port) or building something similar;
- OpenTelemetry / distributed tracing;
- Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Cilium);
- Secrets management (Vault, SOPS, AWS Secrets Manager);
- SRE practices: SLO, error budgets, on-call;
- FinOps on AWS;
- Experience with stateful in K8s — operators for Postgres / Kafka / Redis.
What We Offer You
