We are expanding our line of ML&AI level courses and looking for authors who, together with methodologists, editors, and illustrators, will create content for a new product.
What does an author do?
- Creates materials for new courses in a team with other authors, methodologists, editors, illustrators, and the program's product managers.
- Writes lesson texts that maintain students' interest in learning.
- Improves existing content based on feedback from students, support experts, and editors.
- Develops supplementary materials (simulators, checklists, tests, memos, quizzes) and test assignments to check knowledge.
- Suggests ideas on how to improve material assimilation.
- Participates in program design.
Knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of digital audio processing (DSP) and spectral representations (STFT, mel spectrograms, etc.).
- Practical experience in solving audio analysis tasks: classification, event detection, VAD, speaker tasks.
- Experience in developing or applying ASR (speech recognition) models and understanding of modern architectures (CTC, transformers, Whisper-like approaches).
- Experience with TTS (speech synthesis) models or a good understanding of their architectures (Tacotron, FastSpeech, HiFi-GAN).
- Skill in working with PyTorch, torchaudio, librosa, and HuggingFace.
- Understanding of audio data preparation specifics: cleaning, segmentation, augmentations, noise.
- At least 2 years of practical experience in applying audio analysis in commercial or research tasks.
Will be an advantage
- Experience applying audio technologies in various fields: voice assistants, music analysis, conversation analysis, and other industrial ASR/TTS systems.
- Experience in mentoring, writing articles, or creating educational content on topics in the field of audio technologies.
