Python/Go Security Tools Developer

The Security Tools Development Team creates and improves applications that automate the search for security issues and threat response. All our developments and integrations are part of the company's overall infrastructure and directly impact the security of all Yandex services.

What tasks await you

Development of Sensitive Data Discovery Tools As part of one of the key areas, you will be designing and implementing infrastructure for a big data analysis system. This system allows for the discovery and categorization of sensitive data during its transmission and processing.

Development of Security Process Automation Tools As part of this project, you will design and implement agent applications around available LLM models and integrate them into the real workflows of security engineers. The main goal of the project is to reduce the workload on engineers where possible by adding automation.

We expect you to

• Be proficient in Python, Go, or be willing to switch to them
• Understand the general principles of microservice architecture and containerization
• Write efficient and clear code and know how to test it
• Be familiar with the principles of data storage in relational and non-relational databases

Will be a plus

• Have experience developing high-load asynchronous applications
• Be familiar with Docker
• Know how to set up CI/CD processes
• Have an interest in machine learning topics
