Python/Go Developer

We aim to make the internet safer for Yandex users. You will work with us to improve a distributed system with hundreds of servers and gigabytes of processed data per second. Apply if you know Python or Go. Experience in security or DevOps will be a plus.

Tasks awaiting you

Enhancing internet security and user convenience We combat search spam, unwanted extensions, and intrusive advertising, and look for malicious websites. You will work with us on a geographically distributed system, solve its performance issues, process data in batch and streaming modes, work with distributed databases, devise metrics and algorithms.

We expect that you

• Know Python or Go or are ready to switch to them
• Understand how networks are structured and have a general understanding of IPsec and routing
• Know ways to automate Linux-like systems
• Have written and maintained code from start to finish (from architecture design to monitoring) and want to continue doing this

Will be a plus

• Developed for Linux
• Worked in the security field
• Worked with big data
• Created distributed systems
• Have DevOps experience
• Have a basic knowledge of JavaScript
