Remote Vacancy.
Creative platform bzik is looking for an Art Director to join its team, someone who thinks in systems, not just isolated images. A person who will take responsibility for all of the agency's visuals, build clear processes within the design unit, and be able to defend concepts with sound arguments.
bzik is not a classic advertising agency; it's a creative platform that creates content, special projects, AI-powered video production, and influencer integrations for Burger King, Yandex Browser, 2GIS, and other brands.
The company already has a great team and a strong motion lead; now it needs a leader who will unite it all into a functioning mechanism.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for all agency visuals: SMM packaging, advertising campaigns, special projects, and tenders. Set the visual direction and maintain the quality of everything that goes to the client.
- Develop design concepts and branding for tenders and new clients, combining idea and strategy into a visual solution.
- Formulate processes for the design unit: manage the entire design department backlog, calculate time, allocate task deadlines, and build a clear work methodology.
- Lead a team of up to 5 people (designers, motion designers, editors): assign tasks, conduct reviews, monitor workload, grow the team, and participate in hiring.
- Develop the unique and recognizable style of bzik.
- Form a pool of contractors: illustrators, designers, AI creators, etc.
- Participate in briefings with key clients and defend visuals and concepts in tender presentations.
Candidate Expectations:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Art Director in an agency (digital, SMM, creative, or branding agencies).
- A strong portfolio with client case studies (not just concepts): brand SMM packaging, advertising campaigns, KV, special projects, pitch presentations.
- Proficient in the basic digital design stack: Figma, Adobe, AI in production, understanding of motion and editing.
- Leadership experience, ability to evaluate team members' skills and assign tasks accordingly.
- Ability to justify decisions (not just "I see it this way") calmly react to edits and meet deadlines.
- Ability to create a visual brand platform and scale it across dozens of content units.
Advantages of working at the company:
- Projects with major brands that offer scope for visual solutions.
- The Art Director in the company is the person who leads the visual part of the project from mood board to completion.
- Fast processes: decisions are made within the team, without long approval chains.
- Team synergy: you will work closely with the creative lead and creators, brainstorming and packaging ideas into visuals together.
The company offers:
- Remote work or an office in Moscow.
- Salary + KPI.
- Reasonable deadlines and processes.
- A team where everyone is in context, not "everyone for themselves."
How to apply:
The team doesn't need long, copied-and-pasted cover letters. They want to see your real projects and understand that you are genuinely interested. Therefore, start your application with the words "привет, bzik" and attach a link to your portfolio.
