About the project:
We are looking for an experienced data analyst to work on a strategically important project in the banking sector. You will be involved in the development and support of data warehouse architecture, integration of heterogeneous systems, and building scalable ETL processes for reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes in SDI and Apache Airflow environments;
- Integrate data from heterogeneous sources: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, GreenPlum, S3;
- Process and load data into the Big Data Platform (BDP), including working with streaming data;
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, design data marts and storage schemas;
- Analyze implemented algorithms and business logic, translate technical details into business customer language;
- Implement integrations using CDC (Change Data Capture) and Batch loading methods, including for large volumes of data;
- Work with Kafka as a consumer/producer for asynchronous data exchange;
- Retrieve data via REST API, ensuring reliable asynchronous interaction;
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle for reporting: from requirements gathering to implementation and support;
- Interact with development, analytics, and business departments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in BDP / DWH / BI (2-3 years or more);
- Experience in system integration and implementing ETL processes in production;
- At least 1 full cycle software development and implementation project related to reporting;
- Experience in managing large strategic projects (preferably in the banking/financial sector);
- Deep understanding of the functional architecture of bank data warehouses;
- Ability to analyze complex SQL code and explain business logic to non-technical stakeholders.
