Mission:
Transition manual regression to automated. The main job is to build the test infrastructure under the guidance of our QA Lead, who has a ready backlog of critical scenarios for automation. During releases and peak loads, you will also be involved in manual testing – this is part of the role, but not its essence: the more you automate, the less manual regression remains for both you and the team.
What you will do:
● Write E2E tests on Playwright for critical user scenarios; ● Write API tests; ● Build a smoke suite that runs after each deploy; ● Integrate tests into CI (GitLab/GitHub); ● Generate test data; ● Automate bug reproduction; ● Use AI for generating test cases and analyzing failure reasons; ● Deal with unstable (flaky) tests and reduce their occurrence; ● Assist the main QA with manual regression during releases and peak loads; ● In the future, participate in building an evaluation framework for the company's AI functions.
Mandatory Requirements:
● Understanding of testing fundamentals: types of tests, test design, testing pyramid; ● Experience in manual testing: test cases, checklists, quality bug reports; ● Experience in writing automated tests (training and pet projects are accepted if there is code to review); ● Playwright is preferred; Cypress or Selenium is an acceptable alternative; ● API testing, Postman or equivalent; ● JavaScript/TypeScript or C#; ● Basic SQL, Git; ● Understanding of CI/CD and how tests are integrated into it; ● Ability to read application logs and localize the cause of failure; ● Practical experience using AI coding assistants.
IMPORTANT:
● Georgian citizenship or valid residence permit with the right to work; ● Permanent residency in Georgia, except for vacations or one-off trips; ● Work format: remote within the country; ● Willingness to complete an unpaid test assignment.
Will be a plus: Vue.js, .NET, Docker, GitLab/GitHub CI, basics of load testing, basics of security testing, experience with flaky tests.
