We are looking for an accountant for a fintech company.

Responsibilities: — maintenance of accounting records in accordance with Cypriot legislation and IFRS; — accounting for fixed assets, administrative expenses, depreciation, and revaluation; — verification of invoices, expense control; — maintenance of cash book, daily recording of client account movements; — reconciliation of bank statements, internal data, and settlements with counterparties; — monthly accounting of broker/merchant statements, own portfolio, and revaluations; — control and accounting of the company's credit operations; — participation in monthly closing, preparation of management reporting and VAT returns; — interaction with internal and external auditors; — optimization of accounting processes and implementation of new tools.

Requirements: — higher education in Accounting / Finance / Economics; — at least 2 years of practical experience in accounting, preferably in a company in Cyprus or the EU; — confident knowledge of IFRS and basic accounting principles; — experience with fixed asset accounting, bank reconciliations, expense control, and period closing; — knowledge of VAT will be a plus; — proficient in Excel, experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage; — attention to detail, analytical skills, independence, and ability to multitask.
