We are looking for an accountant for a fintech company.

Responsibilities: — Maintaining accounting records in accordance with Cypriot legislation and IFRS; — Accounting for fixed assets, administrative expenses, depreciation, and revaluation; — Checking invoices, controlling expenses; — Maintaining the cash book, daily recording of client account movements; — Reconciling bank statements, internal data, and settlements with counterparties; — Monthly accounting for broker/merchant statements, own portfolio, and revaluations; — Control and accounting for the company's credit operations; — Participation in monthly closing, preparation of management reporting and VAT reporting; — Interaction with internal and external auditors; — Optimization of accounting processes and implementation of new tools.

Requirements: — Higher education in Accounting / Finance / Economics; — At least 2 years of practical experience in accounting, preferably in a company in Cyprus or the EU; — Solid knowledge of IFRS and basic accounting principles; — Experience with fixed asset accounting, bank reconciliations, expense control, and period closing; — Knowledge of VAT will be a plus; — Proficient in Excel, experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage; — Attention to detail, analytical skills, independence, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
