Looking for a Python Developer (Project)

We are looking for an experienced Python engineer for project-based work to integrate external APIs, match data, and load it into PostgreSQL.

🚀 Task

• Fetching data from the Companies House UK API
• Fetching data from the Google Places API
• Normalizing and matching data (company names, addresses, postcode)
• Loading data into PostgreSQL (upsert, indexes)
• Forming SQL queries and exporting results to CSV
• Preparing basic documentation (README)

🛠 Tech Stack

• Python 3.x
• Working with APIs (requests / httpx, handling rate limits)
• PostgreSQL (schemas, indexes, ON CONFLICT)
• pandas
• Fuzzy matching (rapidfuzz or similar)
• SQL

✅ Candidate Expectations

• Minimum 3 years of commercial Python development experience
• Hands-on experience integrating external APIs
• Understanding of database schema design
• Clean, maintainable code
• Ability to work autonomously and see tasks through to completion

📦 Work Format

• Project-based employment (2–3 weeks)
• Remote
• Flexible schedule
• Payment: fixed per project or hourly (to be discussed)
