Location/Citizenship: Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus. ⏳ Vacancy Validity: until 21.10.2026. 📌 Important: candidates with at least 85% relevant experience are considered (outstaffing position). 🧩 About the role: We are looking for a BI specialist who views Grafana OSS 13.0 not just as a monitoring tool, but as a full-fledged BI data visualization platform. This role is for an engineer who can transform raw data into understandable dashboards, set up effective alerts, and confidently navigate existing code even without documentation when necessary. 🚀 Key tasks: — Development, refactoring, and optimization of dashboards and alerts in Grafana OSS 13.0. — Writing and optimizing SQL queries for data sources (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, in the future — ClickHouse). — Gathering and aligning requirements with business stakeholders (to a lesser extent, but implied). — Analyzing and modifying existing code/configurations without documentation. — Writing technical documentation based on your work. 🎯 Mandatory Requirements (Hard Skills): BI and Visualization (CRITICAL!): — Proficient in Grafana OSS 13.0 as a BI visualization platform (not just monitoring, but also building analytical dashboards). — Experience in developing dashboards and configuring alerts, including their refactoring and performance optimization. Databases and SQL (CRITICAL!): — Proficient in SQL (complex queries, optimization, window functions). — Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL. — (Future work with ClickHouse). Tools and Processes: — Experience with Git (version control for dashboards/configs). — Skills in working with Jira and Confluence. Analytical Skills: — Ability to independently analyze existing code and configurations without documentation. — Skills in writing high-quality technical documentation. — Basic skills in gathering and formalizing requirements. 💡 Will be a significant plus: — Experience with ClickHouse (query optimization, OLAP specifics). — Experience using Grafana as a full-fledged BI platform (Data Sources, Variables, Annotations, Alerting, Provisioning). — Knowledge of Python or other languages for automating routine BI developer tasks. — Experience with the GitOps approach for managing dashboards (grafana-operator, Terraform).
