Lead Backend Developer (PHP/Laravel), remote

VPN is an international service. We are developing several high-load products, working with large volumes of traffic, and value engineering culture. The team is characterized by openness, mutual assistance, and a commitment to producing quality code.

Tech Stack: PHP 8.*, Laravel 7→11, MySQL 8, Redis, Horizon, Nginx, CI/CD.

About the role:

🌸 Lead 4 backend developers (reviews, mentorship) 🌸 Write code ~40% of the time 🌸 High load up to 500 RPS 🌸 Query optimization, refactoring, new features

Requirements:

💦 7+ years of PHP experience 💦 2+ years of experience managing developers 💦 Excellent knowledge of Laravel, SQL, Eloquent 💦 High-load experience (understanding code resources) 💦 Queues, Redis, Memcache, Git, CI/CD 💦 English B1+ (written)
