Yandex Market is one of the largest multi-category marketplaces, used by millions of people every day.

Our team created Flex — a BDUI framework that allows developing application functionality on the backend. Layout is written in DivKit using Kotlin DSL. With Flex, we describe the entire screen, its actions and interactivity, as well as navigation between screens. Our goal is to make the BDUI approach the standard for mobile development at Yandex.

What tasks await you

Development of the BDUI SDK and making architectural decisions You will develop BDUI capabilities, make architectural decisions, and handle non-trivial native tasks that impact multiple services.

Optimization of SDK performance It is important to us that the code runs as fast as possible. You will prevent performance degradation, research and implement solutions that accelerate SDK functionality, write tests, set up monitoring, and much more.

Infrastructure and developer experience Our main users are developers. We want them to find it as convenient and pleasant as possible to apply our solution. You will work on this task — from writing documentation and creating processes to improving tools and infrastructure.
