Tasks:
- Participate in the development and enhancement of the corporate data warehouse on Greenplum
- Write and optimize SQL queries
- Develop data loads and transformations (ETL/ELT)
- Work with tables, views, and other database objects
- Participate in the development of data warehouse marts and layers
- Analyze the quality and correctness of loaded data
- Understand existing loading processes and dependencies between DWH objects
- Participate in the automation of data processing
- Collaborate with analysts, architects, and experienced Data Engineers of the team
Requirements:
- Good understanding of SQL fundamentals: JOIN, GROUP BY, subqueries, CTE, window functions
- Basic understanding of relational database principles
- Understanding what a table, view, primary key, index, and transaction are
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Interest in Data Engineering / DWH
- Willingness to delve into large volumes of data and complex subject areas
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
