Intern in the analytical reporting and dashboards team: designing data structures, creating report prototypes in BI tools, working with user scenarios and documentation.
Tasks:
- Write SQL queries to relational databases, extract and aggregate data for reports and dashboards
- Evaluate data quality and document sources
- Propose data structure prototypes based on business requirements and mockups
- Prepare schemas for data marts or the logical layer of BI tools
- Create wireframes and interactive prototypes of report and dashboard pages (Figma, Sketch, and similar)
- Develop user scenarios, layout of filters, charts, and key performance indicators
- Defend design solutions with arguments to the team and clients
- Maintain descriptive documentation: report purpose, data sources, metric calculation logic, instructions
- Keep materials up-to-date with changes
- Participate in requirement gathering, test prototypes, collect feedback, and improve reports
Requirements:
- Studying in a Russian university, 4th-6th year of Bachelor's/Specialist degree or 1st-2nd year of Master's degree (full-time)
- Any work experience relevant to the internship field
- Existing pet projects/portfolio
- Figma, Sketch, or similar tools
- Confluence or similar tools
- Advanced SQL level
