The exact income of a crab fisherman in Norway strongly depends on the season and catch, but the figures in rubles are impressive.
· Minimum guarantee (legal):
from ~1.8 million rubles per month before taxes. This is the minimum daily rate protected by law (about 20,000 rubles/day).
· Net income after taxes: ~6500–7000 € (~650,000 – 700,000 rubles). Even newcomers receive this amount in the first month; it is a stable part of the salary.
· With catch bonuses: up to 1.6–2 million rubles and above. The main income comes from a percentage of the catch value (up to 30% of net profit for the team).
· Maximum records: 2–3 million rubles per month (forecast for peak season) or even 15,000–20,000 € (~1.5–2 million rubles) for experienced sailors.
