The Lunskoye More plant for the production of caviar and fish products is looking for a Commercial Director.
Lunskoye More is the largest and most advanced enterprise for the processing of caviar and seafood. The products are supplied to all regions of the Russian Federation, and the goods are also exported to many foreign countries. The company's clients include federal and regional retail chains in Russia and foreign trading companies.
Responsibilities:
Business Strategy and Economics:
- Development and implementation of a comprehensive commercial strategy (short-term and long-term) for the holding companies, aimed at achieving goals for market share growth, revenue, and net profit.
- Full responsibility for the commercial direction: sales plan execution, profitability, turnover.
- Budgeting and planning: formation, defense, and control of the commercial sector budget execution (payroll, commercial expenses, etc.).
- Financial modeling and pricing: development of a flexible pricing policy and commercial risk management (risk insurance, systemic management of accounts receivable).
Sales Channel Management:
- Development and implementation of commercial policy.
- Development of key partners: personal participation in high-level negotiations with top management, building long-term and mutually beneficial relationships.
- Analysis of channel efficiency: assessment of the profitability of each partner and segment, decision-making on expanding/reducing cooperation.
Team Building and Development:
- Optimization of the commercial sector structure: building an effective management hierarchy (sales managers, key managers, related departments).
- Employee development: building a strong team, mentoring, creating a talent pool.
- Implementation of a results-oriented culture: formation, setup, and implementation of key metrics (KPIs) for all levels of the commercial block, linked to the overall financial result.
Automation and Analytics:
- Control of commercial resources and related infrastructure utilization to maximize efficiency.
- Analytics and effectiveness of business solutions: implementation of a regular reporting system (CRM, ERP), sales funnel analysis.
- Process automation: initiation and control of automation tool implementation (including AI elements) to increase the productivity of the commercial block.
Expectations, basic requirements:
- More than three years of successful experience as a Commercial Director in companies with a turnover of 3 billion rubles or more.
- Experience (mandatory): B2B market (food industry). Understanding of the specifics of work.
- Management scale: experience in building or deeply reorganizing a sales department.
- Strategic thinking: ability to see the market 3-5 years ahead, develop and defend a strategy to the owner.
- Negotiation skills: first-person level. Ability to be tough and straightforward where necessary, and diplomatic where it is beneficial.
- Independence in decision-making within the framework of the approved strategy and budget.
