🌾 Good afternoon! I am looking for a Commercial Director for a large vertically integrated agricultural holding.
This is a role for a strong commercial leader who knows how to build a sales strategy, manage a multi-channel distribution system, and develop exports.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the holding company's commercial strategy: sales plans, market and competitor analysis.
- Manage sales across all areas: pork, meat processing, compound feed, breeding stock, raw milk.
- Ensure revenue and profitability targets are met, develop channels, and work with key clients.
- Scale exports to existing countries and open new markets.
- Ensure compliance with export standards and build partnerships with international counterparties.
- Manage pricing and sales for the entire product portfolio.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance; manage accounts receivable and the commercial budget.
- Build and develop a strong commercial team.
Requirements
- Higher education (economics, management, marketing, agro-industrial complex); MBA is a plus.
- 7–10+ years in sales and commercial management (B2B is a priority, agro-industrial complex, meat processing).
- Experience managing a team of 20-30+ people.
- Export track record is an advantage.
- Strategic planning, budgeting, P&L management, experience with CRM and BI analytics, top-level management negotiations.
- Deep understanding of the pork market and experience implementing modern sales technologies would be a plus.
