Responsibilities:
- Area of responsibility: all sales channels (RF and export), customer service, transport logistics.
- Key goal: scaling the business through the development of new channels, launching new products to the market.
Main tasks:
Strategic brand development and expansion:
- Ensuring new brands enter target federal and regional chains (X5, Magnit, Lenta, Fix Price, etc.). Focus on profitable long-term contracts and correct shelf positioning.
- Managing market share: expanding shelf space, increasing the number of SKUs in retailers' matrices, and entering new regions.
- Mastering new channels: scaling in e-commerce (OZON, WB, Samokat), developing export markets.
- Market monitoring: analyzing competitor actions and promptly adjusting sales tactics.
Commercial efficiency and profitability management:
- Responsibility for commercial profit.
- Pricing: managing pricing policy and maintaining brand competitiveness while preserving planned profitability.
- Promotion management: joint development with marketing of a promotional calendar aimed at increasing sales.
- Budgeting: formation and strict control of the commercial department's budget.
Building and managing a sales team:
- Structure and recruitment: creating an effective team (KAM, regional managers, field staff).
- Motivation system (KPI): implementing performance indicators linked to qualitative development - growth of active customer base (ACB), successful new product launches (NPD).
Operational control:
- Ensuring high accuracy of sales forecasts for production and procurement planning.
- New Product Development (NPD): responsibility for the qualitative and timely launch of new products into sales channels according to the company's strategy.
- Financial discipline: controlling accounts receivable turnover and compliance with contract terms.
Requirements:
- Education: higher education in economics/business.
- An MBA degree or specialized courses will be an advantage.
- Successful track record working as a Commercial Director/Sales Director in the FMCG (food) sector for at least 5 years.
- Established contacts with federal retail chains.
- Experience managing a commercial budget.
- E-commerce expertise.
- Forecasting skills, building sales systems.
- Development of effective motivation systems.
Competencies:
- Deep knowledge of the specifics of working with federal retail and understanding of E-com mechanisms (marketplaces, own online stores).
- Negotiation skills at the level of top company executives.
