Our team is looking for a Support Engineer/Devops for one of our clients.

Our customer is one of the most prominent Tech Startup, recognized in France and abroad for its technical leadership and its open-source contributions. It is also a worldwide leader in the space of software defined storage. Has over 300 customers in more than 30 countries, and they include some of the largest telecom operators and banks in the world, many TV stations, and over 30 hospitals. Working time zone: US Eastern Time zone, starting day around 9AM Eastern

Our expectations of the candidate:

• Strong understanding of Linux, Linux system administration
• Significant understanding of hardware, specially x86 platforms, including RAID architecture and file systems
• Significant understanding of virtualization environments such as VMware, Proxmox
• Experience in using and understanding AWS S3
• Knowledge of High Availability environment (distributed system, load balancing, cloud platforms) and container technologies (docker, kubernetes)
• Knowledge with Web Servers, Backups, Email, Package Management
• Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell), Automation (Saltstack, Ansible)
• Can use Github, Jira and Github actions

• Validate interoperability of products with the provided partner applications
• Share documentation that can be used by various groups
