Go Technical Lead (Evolution IaaS)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing architecture from scratch: scalable network component in Go, integration with SDN, compute, and API;
• Technology selection, PoC building, task decomposition, code review, quality control;
• Organizing team's work, task distribution, developing expertise and training engineers;
• Integration with infrastructure (SDN, network plugins, service discovery, observability);
• Continuous bottleneck analysis, performance optimization, fault tolerance assurance, testing and deployment automation;
• Interaction with product managers, architecture, operations;
• Maintaining and updating technical documentation, resolving engineering conflicts, making key decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Production experience in designing/developing network services, components interacting with routers, SDN controllers, or similar systems;
• Network expertise: TCP/IP, L2/L3, routing, VPN, VLAN/VxLAN, tunneling, NAT, etc.;
• Proficiency in Go for production solutions: multithreading, microservices, optimization, RPC/gRPC, REST;
• Experience in architecture design and launch of fault-tolerant distributed systems;
• Engineering team leadership, code review, CI/CD process organization;
• Experience integrating with public/private clouds, container infrastructure (K8S/CRI/OVS);
• Observability knowledge: metrics collection, logging, tracing.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in creating or refactoring large network projects (Neutron, Calico, NSX, VMWare, OVS, etc.);
• Understanding of SDN architectures, High Availability, Security practices;
• Skills in quickly analyzing others' code, conducting architectural reviews;
• Experience with public speaking, writing technical articles, documentation.
