Tasks
What you will be doing:
- Developing and maintaining frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Implementing adaptive interfaces for desktop and mobile scenarios
- Integrating with backend APIs, external services, and, if necessary, with mobile application capabilities via bridge/host API
- Maintaining and improving the existing codebase: refactoring, eliminating technical debt, increasing code stability and readability
- Writing unit and integration tests
- Participating in task decomposition, estimation, and planning
- Participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team
- Interacting with backend developers, designers, analysts, QA, and the product team
- Participating in the design of frontend applications and the selection of technical solutions
- Developing and maintaining web mini-applications that run within the mobile application / WebView
- Developing and maintaining reusable UI components and a design system
- Working with performance: optimizing loading, bundle size, rendering, Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse metrics
- Participating in improving development tools and processes: builds, CI/CD, quality checks, and automation
- Writing technical documentation, guides, and instructions for the team
Requirements
What we expect from the candidate:
- Commercial frontend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for at least three years
- Solid experience in commercial React development
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React, component-based approach, hooks, state management, and application lifecycle
- Ability to independently develop and maintain frontend functionality within assigned tasks
- Ability to decompose tasks into clear technical steps
- Ability to propose technical solutions and discuss them with the team
- Experience with state management libraries: Redux or similar
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, adaptive and cross-browser layout
- Experience integrating with REST APIs, WebSockets, and asynchronous backend interaction scenarios
- Experience writing tests: Jest, React Testing Library, or similar stack
- Proficient in Git: branches, merge/rebase, pull/merge requests, code review
- Understanding of frontend performance principles: lazy loading, code splitting, tree shaking, asset optimization, Web Vitals
- Experience with CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS, PostCSS, Sass, or similar tools
- Understanding of mobile web development specifics: adaptability, touch scenarios, browser and WebView limitations
- Experience with build tools: Webpack, Vite, Rspack, or similar
Will be a plus
- Experience developing web applications within WebView or mobile mini app scenarios
- Experience configuring or supporting build tools: Webpack, Vite, Rspack, or similar
- Ability to work with tasks of high uncertainty
- Willingness to communicate directly with business stakeholders and help clarify requirements
- Ability and willingness to learn related areas if necessary, e.g., CI/CD
- English language proficiency for reading technical documentation
