Location
Remote work, office in Moscow, or hybrid mode are all possible. The office is located at Leninsky Prospekt, 119A; near the "Butyrskaya" metro station and "Ostankino" MCD station.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new Termidesk VDI functionality using Python, PyQt5, and Sh/Bash.
- Integrate the product with Astra Linux, the "Brest" PC SV platform, and other software.
- Design and research new technologies and protocols for the virtual workstation product.
- Participate in testing implemented functionality and document solutions in the knowledge base.
- Discuss tasks with developers, participate in online meetings, assist with implementation, and conduct code reviews.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Python programming experience.
- Advanced Linux knowledge.
- Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs and working with JSON.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, LDAP, HTTP(S), firewalls, network and Unix sockets.
- Experience with multithreaded and asynchronous Python programming, as well as working with Win32 API, D-Bus, ctypes.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and encryption processes, CMake, and Git. English — for reading and understanding technical documentation.
Bonus points
- Experience with Jira, oVirt, libvirt-python, VMware, or Docker.
- Knowledge of C/C++, PyQt5, and Sh/Bash shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Kerberos domain authentication principles.
