🚀 Tech Lead / Software Architect (Backend, 80% Hands-on)

We are a Ukrainian product holding company launching a new international product in the iGaming sphere and are looking for a strong Tech Lead / Software Architect to help build a reliable backend architecture and become one of the key technical drivers of the product.

We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable with coding and architectural decisions. This is a role for those who love complex distributed systems, high loads, and responsibility for critical business processes.

💻 What will be in focus: • Designing and developing microservice architecture • Active participation in development (80% hands-on) • Building communication contracts between services • Developing DDD modules on NestJS • Code Review and fostering engineering culture • Troubleshooting and incident management in production • Mentoring the backend team • Working with reliability, consistency, and money correctness

🛠 Technologies: NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, TypeORM, gRPC, CQRS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, ClickHouse, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, GitLab CI, OTEL, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Kibana.

✅ Our ideal candidate: • 7+ years of experience in Backend Development • Experience with Distributed Systems and Microservices • Experience in Fintech or iGaming • Understanding of PSP, payment flows, ledger systems, or banking domain • Deep understanding of: — Idempotency — Saga / Outbox patterns — Transactional consistency — Race conditions — Multi-tenant architecture • Practical experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ • Experience with zero-downtime migrations • Engineering mindset and love for clean architecture

➕ Will be a plus: • AWS EKS • Terraform • AI-assisted development (Cursor, Copilot, etc.)
