*instinctools is looking for a Senior Golang Developer to join a global mobility and urban services platform.

📍 Location: EU, Poland, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Georgia 💻 Work format: Remote, full-time 🌎 English: Intermediate

The client operates in 700+ cities across 47 countries, offering ride-hailing, intercity travel, delivery, and task assistance services.

What you’ll be working on: 🔹 Developing scalable and high-performance backend services with Golang 🔹 Designing and optimizing SQL databases, indexes, and queries 🔹 Building asynchronous communication between services using Kafka 🔹 Taking end-to-end ownership of backend services from development to production support 🔹 Setting up observability: metrics, logging, alerts, monitoring 🔹 Working with production incidents, RCA and post-mortems 🔹 Participating in code reviews and following engineering best practices 🔹 Collaborating with cross-functional teams on requirements and technical solutions 🔹 Improving system design, performance, reliability and user experience

What we’re looking for: ⭐ 7+ years of commercial backend engineering experience ⭐ 5+ years of strong hands-on Go experience ⭐ Experience designing and scaling high-load distributed systems and microservices ⭐ Strong knowledge of SQL, Redis, Docker, CI/CD ⭐ Experience with cloud and Kubernetes environments ⭐ Understanding of synchronous/asynchronous communication, reliability, fault tolerance and observability ⭐ Experience building maintainable, well-tested production systems in product-led environments
