#Head of Operations Salary: $2,500 net

We are a Canadian company specializing in the production and distribution of Sports & Outdoors products across North American and European markets. Our products are available on leading online platforms, including Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, and Walmart.

We are currently looking for a Head of Operations to take full ownership of supply chain management and inventory control.

Role & Impact

You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, leading strategic supply chain management, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role is critical to sustaining business growth through resource optimization and minimizing operational risks.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, lead strategic planning initiatives, and manage the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

● Strategic Sourcing & Market Analysis

Conduct market research on Amazon and competitor analysis to identify new product opportunities Source, audit, and select reliable manufacturers Diversify supplier base and manage full product launch cycles (NPI)

● Forecasting & Planning (S&OP)

Develop demand forecasting models based on historical data and marketing plans Lead the S&OP process to align inventory with overall business strategy and prevent stockouts or overstocking

● Inventory & Logistics Management

Manage replenishment cycles and reorder processes Monitor inventory levels across FBA and third-party warehouses Optimize stock liquidation strategies

● Supply Chain Optimization & Reimbursement

Continuously improve supply chain efficiency (cost, lead time, risk) Implement automation tools (ERP/AI solutions) Manage reimbursement processes with marketplaces and partners

● Team Leadership & Strategy

Lead and grow the operations team Drive hiring, development, and performance management Collaborate with top management on strategic planning and budgeting

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role (Amazon FBA experience is a strong advantage) Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for forecasting and analytics Proven experience negotiating with international suppliers (Asia, Europe) Experience building SOPs and implementing automation tools English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher Strong strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making skills High level of self-organization, ownership, and results orientation in a remote environment
