Backend Developer Java Spring Boot Apache Kafka PostgreSQL Moscow Saint Petersburg We are looking for a Senior Java developer for a team developing a large-scale federal HR platform: public interface (job portal equivalent) + closed internal interface (document flow and HR processes).

What you will do — Decompose the monolith and develop new microservices; — Fault-tolerant integrations: Kafka, idempotency, Transactional Outbox, retry, DLQ; — Distributed systems: locks, schedulers, caching, graceful degradation; — Performance optimization: SQL, indexes, N+1 elimination, JVM profiling; — Business process orchestration (Netflix Conductor / Camunda).

What we expect — 5+ years of commercial Java development experience; — Java 21+ (project stack — Java 21–25), Spring Boot, Apache Kafka; — PostgreSQL: query optimization, indexes, transactions; — Experience in designing high-load, fault-tolerant systems; — Docker / Kubernetes; — Higher education. It will be a plus: — Experience migrating legacy monoliths to microservices; — Camunda / Netflix Conductor; — Reliability patterns: Saga, Circuit Breaker, idempotency; — Working with personal data, JWT/OAuth2.
