ShiftLayer develops AI products, decentralized infrastructure, and modern software solutions for business. We work on AI applications, automation, backend services, Web3, and distributed systems, with a special focus on architectural quality, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Development and support of backend services and REST API.
• Creation of AI applications and AI agents.
• Integration of LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) and third-party APIs.
• Development of cloud services and automated workflows.
• Design and optimization of PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Participation in architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Diagnosis and resolution of technical issues.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements

• From 4 years of commercial development experience.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Experience in developing REST APIs and backend systems.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and modern databases.
• Experience with Docker and at least one cloud provider (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Git and experience in team development.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently solve technical problems.
• Fluent English (mandatory) — daily communication with an international team and participation in technical meetings.

Will be a plus

• Experience with AI Agents, LLMs, RAG, or workflow automation.
• Web3 / Blockchain.
• React or Next.js.
• Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• Interest in AI Infrastructure and distributed systems.
