We are IBS. A leading Russian system integrator, developer of digital solutions for the largest companies and the public sector.
You will join a team working on a large-scale HR platform — an ecosystem for personnel management: from recruitment and training to task setting, vacation and sick leave management. The product is developed as an internal system with market entry in a cloud model.
You will be testing a complex ERP system consisting of multiple services. Work is conducted on both the frontend and backend. We need a specialist who can deeply test business logic, work with APIs, logs, and databases, and also build manual testing processes.
What you will do (responsibilities)
- Perform manual regression and smoke testing.
- Create and update the product's test model.
- Develop and maintain test cases in an up-to-date state.
- API testing (REST) — verifying contracts between services.
- Work with bug tracking systems: creating defects, tracking their lifecycle, communicating with developers.
- Analyze logs (Kibana) to find error causes.
- Interact with analysts and developers to clarify requirements.
Our requirements (competencies)
Experience: from 1 year of commercial development/testing.
Mandatory skills:
- At least 1 year of experience as a tester.
- Manual regression and smoke testing — confident command of methodologies.
- At least 1 year of commercial API testing experience.
- Development and updating of test cases.
- Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira, YouTrack, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of the HTTP protocol (methods, status codes, headers).
- Understanding of REST API basics.
- Basic SQL knowledge (simple select queries).
- Knowledge of Postman (or similar), Swagger, DevTools.
- Ability to work with logs (we use Kibana).
- Understanding of client-server architecture.
- At least 50% of the time working with the backend.
Will be an advantage:
- Experience testing ERP systems, HR products, or complex web applications.
- Understanding of personnel management processes (recruitment, training, HR accounting).
- Experience working in large companies or the financial sector.
- Test automation skills (any stack).
- Experience with cloud platforms.
