We are looking for an engineer for the algorithms and modeling team. Your responsibilities will include supporting, modifying, designing, and implementing the architecture of a 4G/LTE and 5G system simulator.

You will face the following tasks:

Implement various components of the system simulator in C++, including:

• functional blocks;
• blocks defined in the 3GPP standard;
• elements of L2/L3 algorithms.
• Interact with development teams and the algorithm research and development department to determine which blocks need to be implemented in the simulator.
• Be prepared to deeply study L2+ algorithms (MAC-PS, power allocation, communication channel adaptation, handover, etc.).
• Prepare specifications for the developed simulator blocks.
• Ensure the simulator complies with the latest 3GPP standard updates.
• Participate in simulator code reviews.

Our expectations:

• Higher education in computer science, telecommunications, or a related field;
• Experience in designing software systems using architectural patterns and UML;
• C++ programming experience — 1-3 years;
• Initiative and ability to solve problems independently, readiness to delve into a new field for yourself.
• Developed communication skills and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in the architecture and software specification development for telecommunication and wireless systems;
• Knowledge of communication theory, mathematical statistics, and probability theory;
• Experience in developing mathematical models.
