Role Summary
We’re building a high-load private social platform where quality, performance, and stability matter as much as product taste. You’ll work on the core backend powering dating, networking, subscriptions, moderation, and real-time interactions — with real users, real scale, and zero room for sloppy engineering.
What you will do
- Design and develop core business logic and backend services
- Work with databases at scale (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse)
- Integrate third-party services and internal systems
- Improve performance, stability, and system scalability under high load
- Write and maintain tests to ensure correctness and reliability
- Set up and maintain servers, cloud infrastructure, and configuration management
- Build observability: logs, metrics, monitoring, error tracking
- Coordinate backend releases and deployments
- Implement and maintain security best practices across the stack

What we expect
- Strong backend experience with JavaScript / Node.js
- Deep understanding of Linux
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and networking fundamentals
- Experience designing and operating complex distributed systems
- Excellent SQL skills, including query optimization and indexing
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL architecture
- Experience with Redis, queues (BullMQ), background jobs
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Kafka + Debezium
- Ability to think in systems, not just features
