We are currently looking for a Team Lead DevOps / Infrastructure Lead to take charge of managing a complex, high-load infrastructure as an internal company product.
The key task of the role is to ensure the sustainable development of the infrastructure without compromising production stability, establish systematic management of the infrastructure as a product, and help the team transition from reactive operations to a more manageable and predictable work model.
About us:
- we have a high-load distributed infrastructure;
- several hundred servers;
- production is primarily on baremetal;
- we also use AWS, Selectel, Hetzner.

AWS, Selectel, Hetzner, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Linux/Windows, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gerrit, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, InfluxDB, Kafka, NATS, Consul, Vault, Zabbix, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK, Fluentd/Vector, Bash, Python.
Main Tasks:
- manage the development and maintenance of the infrastructure;
- conduct audits, identify risks, technical debt, and optimization points;
- form the backlog and development roadmap;
- reduce operational load through automation and systematic improvements;
- establish practices for technical decision-making and change management;
- develop the team, reduce bus factor, balance workload;
- build interaction with development, security, finance, and other stakeholders.
To accomplish these tasks, you will need:
- experience managing a DevOps / Infrastructure / Platform team;
- experience working with complex production infrastructure where the cost of error is high;
- ability to make decisions under uncertainty and conflicting opinions;
- experience in infrastructure auditing and roadmap formation;
- technical depth sufficient for in-depth work with a strong engineering team;
- understanding of the connection between technical solutions, risks, and cost efficiency.
