Lead DevOps
Location: Remote, OUTSIDE the Russian Federation

We are looking for a Lead DevOps engineer to join the team of an international player in the iGaming market, developing solutions for platforms worldwide for over 10 years and collaborating with leading game software providers.
Responsibilities
- Design infrastructure for high-load distributed systems (from bare-metal to Kubernetes in the cloud)
- Be responsible for the platform: its reliability, performance, fault tolerance, and security
- Lead the DevOps team: mentor, support, develop, involve in architectural and product decisions
- Build and implement infrastructure development roadmaps (migrations, fault tolerance, monitoring, security)
- Interact with development teams and product managers, participate in planning and implementing changes
- Participate in incident analysis (technical and process)
- Manage projects: planning, task decomposition, progress tracking, blocker removal
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineer
- Experience in technical leadership: managing 3–7 engineers (project or functional management)
- Deep experience with on-premise infrastructure: Proxmox VE, QEMU/KVM, bare-metal
- Network competencies: BGP, load balancing, VPN, fault tolerance, Cloudflare/Fastly
- Kubernetes in production: Helm, ArgoCD, GitLab CI
- IaC: Terraform, Ansible
- Monitoring: Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana
- Databases and queues: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Scripting: Bash + Python or Golang
Bonus Points
- Experience migrating infrastructure from on-premise to cloud (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with high-load / high-availability products
- Building CI/CD and GitOps from scratch
- Experience in hiring and team building
Working Conditions:
- Employment: B2B with an individual entrepreneur in the country of residence
- Location: outside the Russian Federation.
- Salary: fixed based on candidate expectations, payment in Euros
- Schedule: remote work, Prague time
