📌 Vacancy: System Analyst
📍 Location: Cyprus
🕓 Full-time, office format
StarTribe is part of a large international holding company (name under NDA), which has been creating and developing large-scale and high-load IT products for major companies, including world-renowned brands, for over 10 years.

🎯 Our main focus is iGaming: we create technological solutions for online entertainment, sports, and games. We operate in the B2B segment and are among the industry leaders (top-10 globally).
🎯 About the project
A new position open to strengthen the backend development teams of one of our clients (NDA). They are working on an internal product that is currently in the support and development phase.
💼 Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and existing functionality to assess the sufficiency of system requirements and develop recommendations for improvements;
- Gather information from various sources (documentation, colleagues, analytical materials) using effective methods for data searching and systematization;
- Develop and coordinate system requirements for new functionality, as well as describe inter-system integrations using integration maps, sequence diagrams, and data flows;
- Describe and update APIs (methods, parameters, usage examples) and interaction protocols;
- Maintain and update documentation in Confluence, manage requirements throughout all project lifecycle stages;
- Monitor the implementation of requirements and ensure functionality compliance with declared specifications.
💡 Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a System Analyst;
- Understanding of REST principles and experience working with REST APIs (Swagger, Postman, etc.);
- Understanding of relational databases, ability to read and describe SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN), procedures, functions, and data schemas;
- Experience with NoSQL databases;
- Experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka);
- Knowledge and experience with XML/XSD, JSON/JSON-Schema;
- Experience in describing and managing non-functional requirements;
- Ability to establish communication with development teams and business units, argue and justify decisions, and find compromises.
🌟 Will be a plus
- Knowledge of UML, BPMN, and DFD notations;
- Experience reading and understanding code (C#);
- Understanding of microservice architecture principles;
- Skills in working with monitoring and logging systems.
