Vacancy: Senior DevOps Engineer Company: One Vote Up
Location: Remote (anywhere in the world)
Salary Range: $4500 – $5500 net per month (depending on level and interview)
Work Format: Fully remote, flexible schedule

What you will be doing:

• Designing, building, and maintaining a reliable, scalable platform infrastructure (high load for voting and traffic).
• Automating CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring, logging, alerting, and ensuring high availability of services.
• Managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Working with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Optimizing infrastructure costs and performance.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Participating in an on-call rotation (infrequent).
• Collaborating with developers, QA, and the Product team.

Requirements

Must-have:

• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience (Senior).
• Deep knowledge of Linux, networking, bash/Python scripting.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE or self-hosted).
• Terraform / Ansible / Crossplane.
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Experience with clouds (AWS preferred, GCP is a plus).
• Understanding of monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Loki, etc.).
• Knowledge of high availability, scalability, and security best practices.

Will be a big plus:

• Experience with high-load web applications or social/voting platforms.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• Experience with serverless and CDN.
• Understanding of security (WAF, secrets management, compliance).
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher (all communication is in English).
