Data Scientist – Machine Learning Models in the Banking Sector

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ML models for legal entities (primarily small businesses);
• 90% - models on tabular data, 10% - LLM/NLP/RAG, etc.;
• Optimize pricing and personalized pricing models;
• Generate ideas for implementing ML solutions into business processes in collaboration with business teams;
• Present model results, interpret them, and provide recommendations for use.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Python, libraries sklearn, pandas, numpy, LightGBM/XGBoost/CatBoost;
• Experience with SQL and version control systems (Git);
• Knowledge and practical experience with Spark, Hadoop, Hive;
• Understanding of classical machine learning methods and the ability to translate business tasks into ML terms;
• Experience with LLM/NLP and in fintech projects will be an advantage;
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a cross-functional team.
