FinDev is looking for a Senior AI Engineer / AI Architect (Agentic Systems)

We are looking for a strong engineer for an electronic trading project who can build production AI systems and complex AI agents.

This is not a vacancy about prompt engineering or developing simple chatbots. We primarily need a strong software engineer who has been working deeply with LLMs for the last few years and knows how to design agentic systems, orchestration platforms, and robust AI infrastructure.

What you will do:

• Design and develop production AI agents and multi-agent systems. • Build the orchestration layer: reasoning, tool calling, state management, workflows. • Integrate LLMs with internal services, APIs, analytical systems, and data. • Determine when an AI agent is needed and when a deterministic workflow is more reliable. • Design distributed architecture: queues, retries, rate limiting, fault tolerance. • Optimize LLM latency and cost: caching, model routing, parallel execution. • Build evals, regression testing, and mechanisms to protect against hallucinations. • Ensure auditability, explainability, and human-in-the-loop for AI systems.

What is important:

✔ 8+ years of professional Software Engineering experience. ✔ Strong Python skills. ✔ 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLM systems in production. ✔ Real-world experience developing AI Agents, not just LLM integrations. ✔ Tool calling, orchestration, structured outputs. ✔ Strong System Design and Distributed Systems knowledge. ✔ Experience with production-grade architecture, scalability, and fault tolerance. ✔ Understanding of evaluation, hallucination mitigation, and reliability of LLM systems. ✔ English B2+.

Will be a big plus:

➕ Multi-agent systems and agent orchestration. ➕ LangGraph, OpenAI Agents, or similar frameworks. ➕ MCP and RAG. ➕ Kafka / RabbitMQ / Redis. ➕ Docker and Kubernetes. ➕ Experience optimizing LLM inference latency and cost. ➕ Fintech, financial services, or electronic trading.

This vacancy is likely not suitable if your experience is mainly related to:

• prompt engineering and simple chatbots; • Data Science / ML without a strong software engineering background; • AI research without production experience; • LLM API integrations without agentic systems; • backend development without practical experience with modern LLMs.
