Your mission

Field Management Ireland is looking for an experienced Door-to-Door Team Leader who knows how to sell, lead and develop a high-performing field sales team.

You will lead from the front—achieving your own sales targets while coaching your team to improve conversion, quality and customer outcomes. You will create a positive, professional and solutions-focused culture in which people are supported, challenged and recognised for their achievements.

Experience in telecommunications is an advantage, but it is not essential.

This is a field-based position, with working hours focused around peak customer-contact periods in the afternoons and evenings. Some weekend work and attendance at training days will be required.

• Reports to: Sales Manager
• Employment type: Full-time, permanent
• Location: Dublin and Louth
• Base salary: €45,000 per year
• Commission: Uncapped - OTE €80,000+
• Benefits: Company vehicle, fuel card, lunch allowance, phone and tablet
• Annual leave: 22 days, plus 10 public holidays

What you’ll do

• Achieve your own sales target while improving overall team performance
• Take ownership of your team’s assigned territory
• Plan routes and territories to maximise customer contact and conversion
• Demonstrate best-practice selling, from opening the conversation and handling objections to closing the sale compliantly
• Maintain high quality standards by ensuring orders are accurate, complete and compliant
• Coach representatives in the field through daily observation, quick huddles and side-by-side feedback
• Deliver structured 30-, 60- and 90-day development plans for new team members
• Hold effective weekly one-to-one meetings with clear, measurable actions
• Identify performance gaps and provide practical coaching to address them
• Build a culture based on professionalism, customer value, accountability and solutions
• Recognise strong performance and celebrate team successes

What success looks like

• Team conversion is consistently at or above target and improves month on month
• Cancellations remain low and order quality remains high
• Sales are completed accurately, ethically and in line with compliance requirements
• New starters are productive by Day 14
• At least 80% of the team is performing in line with plan
• Team members receive regular, practical coaching that strengthens their performance

About you

You are a hands-on leader who enjoys selling, coaching and helping people succeed. You set high standards, communicate clearly and remain positive and solutions-focused when challenges arise.

You will bring:

• A proven track record of success in door-to-door sales
• Consistent experience of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring field sales representatives
• Strong objection-handling, closing and customer-engagement skills
• The ability to plan territories and use performance data to improve results
• A full, clean driving licence and the flexibility to travel daily
• A driven, resilient and quality-focused approach
• A coaching mindset, with the ability to give clear feedback, positively challenge others and celebrate success
• Experience in telecommunications, utilities, solar energy or another subscription-based door-to-door sales environment is desirable but not essential.
