QA Automation Engineer (Playwright, JavaScript)

☑️ Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain UI, API, and end-to-end tests using Playwright and JavaScript
- Create and maintain smoke and regression test suites
- Analyze requirements, design tests, prepare test documentation, and assess risks
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
- Verify REST API, integrations, business logic, and data using SQL queries
- Analyze test run results, examine logs, and collaborate with developers to resolve test failures
- Run and analyze autotests in CI/CD pipelines
☑️ Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of experience in test automation and a solid understanding of testing theory
- Practical experience with Playwright and JavaScript, understanding of autotest architecture
- Ability to independently analyze requirements and systematically create test suites
- Understanding of client-server architecture, HTTP/HTTPS, and REST API
- Experience working with logs, Git, and SQL queries for data verification
- Knowledge of Java or Python sufficient for reading and writing autotests. The specific language depends on the project
- Ability to complete tasks and collaborate effectively with developers
Bonus points:
- Experience building an automation framework from scratch
- Experience integrating autotests into CI/CD
- In-depth experience in API and integration testing
- Proficient in SQL
- Experience with Docker, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or TeamCity
- We use Playwright, JavaScript, REST API, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, browser DevTools, Git, SQL, and test/task management tools like Jira and TestRail in our work
