We are developing infrastructure in two directions simultaneously:
• production in a PaaS cloud; • a new bare-metal cluster based on Proxmox.
We are looking for an engineer who will help unite these environments, build a fault-tolerant architecture, and organize load balancing, replication, and infrastructure automation.
• Support and development of the production infrastructure. • Deployment and maintenance of the Proxmox cluster. • Configuration of interaction between cloud and on-prem.
• Administration of LAN, VLAN, VPN, firewall, and routing. • Configuration of load balancing and network availability.
• Development of Infrastructure as Code. • Automation using Ansible and/or Terraform. • Participation in CI/CD processes.
• Development of monitoring and alerting. • Configuration of the backup system. • Ensuring infrastructure fault tolerance.
• Experience with Proxmox VE (clusters, HA, live migration). • Experience with bare-metal infrastructure.
• Proficient Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL). • Experience with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• LAN, VLAN, VPN, firewall, routing. • Experience configuring Cloudflare (Load Balancer, Tunnel, WAF) will be an advantage.
• Ansible and/or Terraform. • Bash and/or Python.
• Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics. • OpenTelemetry.
• GitLab CI and/or ArgoCD. • Understanding of GitOps.
• Practical experience in building a 3-2-1 strategy. • Proxmox Backup Server, Restic, or Velero.
• Ceph or other distributed storage. • BGP, anycast, edge networking. • Experience conducting security audits and implementing security best practices.
