Senior Frontend Developer (Tizen)

We are looking for a Frontend developer with experience developing applications for SAMSUNG SMART TV/TIZEN.

• Employment: Individual Entrepreneur (Russian Federation) (not civil, not labor code)

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience developing applications for SAMSUNG SMART TV/TIZEN is mandatory;
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+);
• Confirmed solid experience in frontend development;
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript programming languages;
• Understanding of asynchronous architecture principles, experience with WebSocket protocol;
• Practical experience with multimedia APIs (working with audio, video, and related interfaces);
• Autonomy in problem-solving and the ability to make well-reasoned technical decisions at the project level.

Additional Requirements:

• Understanding the specifics of designing user interfaces for TV devices (large screen, viewing distance, limited set of controls);
• Skills in implementing focus navigation systems and supporting control via TV remote control;
• Experience optimizing application performance for the limited hardware resources of Smart TVs;
• Knowledge of the limitations imposed by embedded browser environments and the ability to account for them during development.

Project Tasks:

• Work with the following stack: Tizen 7 SDK, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Web API, WebSocket, HTML5 Audio;
• Design, development, and technical support of an application for the Smart TV platform;
• Implementation of real-time data exchange using the WebSocket protocol;
• Integration of multimedia functions (audio and video playback, content management);
• Optimization of application performance and resource consumption, considering TV device limitations;
• Work with Tizen API, accounting for Samsung platform specifics when implementing functionality;
• Testing and ensuring stable application operation on a wide range of TV models, including fixing platform-specific errors.
