We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator for long-term cooperation. You will be responsible for the reliability, performance, and development of the DBMS infrastructure in large-scale projects with high requirements for data availability and processing speed.

🟡Responsibilities: • Administration and support of MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL DBMS in a production environment • Design and maintenance of fault-tolerant cluster solutions (Always On, Patroni, replication) • Performance optimization: query plan analysis, index management, deadlock resolution, configuration tuning • Separation and balancing of transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) workloads, design of hybrid scenarios • Replication setup and monitoring (synchronous/asynchronous), ensuring data consistency • Configuration of DBMS monitoring systems (Alerting, Dashboards, SLA metrics) • Participation in incident management: failure investigation, disaster recovery, postmortems • Consulting development teams on database design, writing efficient queries, and migrations

🟡Requirements: • 3+ years of experience as a Senior MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL Administrator • Deep understanding of DBMS internals:

• Query execution plans, statistics, indexes (clustered/non-clustered, covering, filtered)
• Transactions, isolation levels, locks, deadlocks
• Differences and specifics of optimization for OLTP / OLAP / hybrid workloads • Practical experience in building and supporting fault-tolerant clusters (Always On AG, Log Shipping, Patroni, repmgr) • Confident administration of Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems at a level necessary for DBMS operation • Experience in optimizing complex SQL queries and tuning database performance under high load • Skills in setting up replication (synchronous/asynchronous), understanding trade-offs • Experience with monitoring setup: metrics collection, alerting, visualization (Zabbix, Prometheus+Grafana, SQL Server Agent, pgWatch, etc.) • Readiness for a practical task during the interview (working with real-world database cases)

✅Will be an advantage: • Experience administering 1C:Enterprise databases (1C server cluster, performance optimization, scheduled tasks) • Containerization skills (Docker, basic understanding of orchestration) • Experience migrating databases between versions/platforms, working with large data volumes • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices (Ansible, Terraform) for DBMS configuration management • Experience working in distributed teams, knowledge of ITIL/DevOps processes
