We are looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our Jet CSIRT team.

What you will be doing:

• Participating in the creation, development, and maintenance of the methodological, process, and technical bases for providing the Jet CSIRT service within the monitoring group;
• Participating in the processes of providing Jet CSIRT services in the role of a 2nd line analyst (both implemented and developing ones), such as:
  • analysis and investigation of IB incidents;
  • response to IB incidents;
  • proactive threat hunting and detection;
  • cyber forensics of IB incidents;
  • preparation of digests, bulletins, and analytical reports.
• Participating in pre-sales activities in the field of IB outsourcing, such as: pilot projects, effort estimation, and preparation of descriptions for budget assessments, presentations, and demonstrations of Jet CSIRT services.
• Participating in the creation and development of the Jet CSIRT marketing base.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education;
• Skills in analytical processing of information from various sources;
• Understanding of principles, protocols, and technologies for ensuring network security, OS security, application security, and database security;
• Understanding of modern methods, tools, and technologies for carrying out attacks, current IB threats, and protection tools;
• Understanding and experience in administering UNIX systems and/or Microsoft Windows infrastructure;
• Understanding and experience in operating information security event collection and correlation systems;
• Understanding and experience in operating information security tools (network or host-based) is welcome;
• Malware analysis skills are welcome;
• Skills in developing IB analytical reports are welcome;
• Scripting language programming skills (Python, Powershell, Bash) are welcome;
• Experience in participating in or organizing service work is welcome;
• English language – reading technical documentation, conducting business correspondence;
• Initiative, stress resistance, result-oriented approach, ability to work in a team
• Willingness for continuous learning of new information security solutions, striving for professional development.
