Responsibilities
- Participate in the formation of a new AI-native process for producing short animated films.
- Define the visual language of the project: style of characters and world, composition, palette, motion characteristics, lighting, and level of detail.
- Combine the functions of director, art director, and hands-on creative producer in the production of the first videos.
- Go through the entire process from idea and script to the finished animated film: storyboard, animatic, keyframes, shot setup, video generation, sound, editing, and final check.
- Translate the script into a clear visual plan: scenes, shots, character actions, emotions, camera movement, and shot duration.
- Achieve visual and emotional consistency of characters between different scenes and releases.
- Create references, visual rules, style guides, and Character Production Packs for neural networks.
- Define mandatory character attributes, acceptable variations, and unacceptable visual drift.
- Test modern generative models for images, video, voice, music, and sounds.
- Compare tools and providers based on quality, reproducibility, speed, and cost of the accepted result.
- Determine which scenes, movements, and interactions models can already create stably, and where it's necessary to simplify the setup or change the production approach.
- Create short animated films lasting 60–90 seconds for the first target market.
- Select generations, provide clear feedback, and make final creative decisions.
- Record the causes of defects: changes in face or silhouette, loss of accessories, incorrect clothing, problems with anatomy, movement, lighting, style, and continuity.
- Turn recurring errors into rules, templates, checklists, and automated checks.
- Calculate production economics: number of generations, percentage of accepted results, number of attempts, cost of a usable shot, and finished video.
- Together with technical specialists, transfer the developed production process to Story OS and Character Bible Studio.
- Formulate requirements for new product features based on actual content production.
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, and other AI tools to create simple prototypes, interfaces, and automations.
- Work directly with the founder, universe author, children's editor, and technical team.
- Help shape a production standard where humans are responsible for concept, taste, and final decisions, while the system handles the main routine.
Requirements
- Practical experience in animation, video production, motion design, CG, VFX, post-production, or visual content creation.
- Understanding of the full video production cycle: from script and visual concept to editing, sound, and final publication.
- Portfolio with real video works, animations, commercials, series, game cinematics, digital content, or AI videos.
- Strong visual thinking and the ability to maintain a consistent artistic language for the project.
- Understanding of composition, visual storytelling, editing, rhythm, character emotions, and scene staging.
- Ability to assess not only the beauty of an individual frame but also the suitability of the material for a coherent video.
- Practical experience using generative models for images or video.
- Ability to obtain multiple related scenes with the same character and in a consistent style.
- Capacity to understand the reason for an unsuccessful result and adjust references, staging, prompt, model, or shot structure.
- Willingness to independently go through multiple production stages, not just manage contractors.
- Active use of AI tools in your own work.
- Interest in creating your own tools, automations, and new production workflows.
- Basic understanding of what API, JSON, and automated processes are. Professional developer skills are not required.
- Ability to systematize creative work and turn recurring actions into a clear process.
- Willingness to experiment extensively, compare approaches, and honestly document unsuccessful results.
- Ability to work in conditions of high uncertainty and rapidly changing technologies.
- Focus on the finished animated film and reproducible process, not just on spectacular individual AI clips.
Will be an advantage
- Experience as an art director, animation director, video director, editing director, animation supervisor, motion director, lead motion designer, CG generalist, technical artist, creative producer, or AI content producer.
- Experience in defining a project's visual style or overseeing its adherence by the team.
- Experience with character animation, character design, storyboarding, animatics, layout, or cinematic production.
- Experience in a small studio or production house where you had to independently go through multiple production stages.
- Experience creating children's animation, series, game trailers, commercials, YouTube content, or short narrative formats.
- Practical experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, Windsurf, Lovable, or other AI coding tools.
- Experience with vibe coding and independently created prototypes, applications, or internal tools.
- Experience creating automations, bots, generation pipelines, or interfaces for your own work.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js at a level sufficient to modify and run small projects.
- Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, webhooks, and API integrations.
- Experience with ComfyUI, Flux, Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, Runway, Kling, Veo, Sora, Pika, Luma, or similar tools.
- Understanding of ControlNet, IP-Adapter, LoRA, reference-driven generation, image-to-video, inpainting, and consistency workflows.
- Experience with ElevenLabs and other voice generation and processing systems.
- Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, Houdini, or Nuke.
- Personal pet projects, Telegram bots, web applications, AI tools, or automated production workflows.
- Interest in child psychology, upbringing, education, cultural adaptation, and meaningful children's content.
- Understanding of video production economics and the ability to calculate the cost of an accepted result.

- Define the minimum set of references required to maintain character appearance.
- Compare several image and video generation models on the same set of test scenes.
- Set up a keyframe-first and image-to-video process.
- Define a limited set of shots, actions, and camera movements that models can reproduce stably.
- Create storyboards and animatics for the first episodes.
- Assemble the first animated films, 60–90 seconds long, from 6–10 connected shots.
- Set up a basic workflow for voice, music, sound, and automated assembly.
- Create a classifier for defect causes and rules for regeneration.
- Define mandatory human approval points and stages that can be automated.
