Bronext is a brand of ultra-thin Kevlar cases for smartphones. We create “cases for those who don't like cases”: preserving the design and tactile feel of the device while combining minimalism with thoughtful protection.
We are currently looking for someone to take full responsibility for the entire cycle of creating new physical products: from idea generation and economic calculation to working with manufacturers and launching products on marketplaces.
This is not an IT product position or a marketplace account manager role. We need a person who can figure out what product is worth creating, what it should be like, and how to bring it to market.
Responsibilities
Generating Promising Ideas
- Analyze demand, trends, search queries, and category dynamics;
- Study the assortment, prices, and positioning of competitors;
- Analyze customer reviews and identify unmet needs;
- Formulate and prioritize hypotheses for new products.
Validating Product Economics
- Calculate cost price and unit economics;
- Account for procurement, logistics, marketplace commissions, promotion, returns, and other expenses;
- Determine target price, profit margin, and acceptable purchase cost;
- Assess the product's potential before initiating production.
Developing the Product
- Search for and select manufacturers and suppliers;
- Request and compare offers, negotiate terms;
- Formulate requirements for characteristics, materials, configuration, and packaging;
- Order, test, and refine samples;
- Control the elimination of deficiencies and ensure product compliance with specified requirements.
Preparing and Managing the Launch
- Develop product positioning and key benefits;
- Assign tasks for packaging, visual materials, and product listings;
- Coordinate launch participants and monitor deadlines;
- Track initial results, reviews, and product performance metrics;
- Propose improvements after the product enters the market.
Expected Outcomes
- New product ideas are supported by data, not just personal opinion;
- Each product has clear economics, requirements, and a launch plan;
- Samples undergo systematic testing and refinement;
- Products are launched within agreed-upon timelines and achieve target metrics;
- A consistent product development roadmap is formed, not a collection of scattered ideas.
You are a good fit if you have
- At least 1 year of experience in physical product development, assortment management, private label development, e-commerce product management, or a related role;
- Participated in at least one product launch and can describe the stages you were personally responsible for;
- Ability to analyze the market, competitors, reviews, and marketplace data;
- Ability to independently calculate product unit economics;
- Experience working with manufacturers, technical specifications, or samples;
- Ability to structure work, set deadlines, and deliver tasks to completion;
- Willingness to make independent decisions within your area of responsibility.
We are open to considering candidates with less overall experience if you already have practical experience in creating or launching physical products and understand the logic of the entire process.
Will be an advantage
- Experience in electronics, mobile accessories, or other tech consumer goods;
- Launching private label products;
- Working with manufacturers from China;
- Experience in Ozon, Wildberries, or Yandex Market categories;
- Participation in the development of packaging, positioning, and content;
- Understanding of quality requirements and certification for physical goods.
What We Offer
- Income from 100,000 rubles per month — the final level will be discussed based on experience and case studies;
- Fully remote work from anywhere in the world;
- An independent role with a clear area of responsibility;
- The opportunity to directly influence the assortment and brand development;
- Work with a real product whose results can be seen in sales and customer reviews;
- Opportunity for growth along with the Bronext product line.
In your application, briefly describe one or two physical products you participated in launching: what the product was, what stages you were personally responsible for, and what the outcome was.
