Seeking Senior React Native / Full-stack Developer for international book marketplace Burtz

Seeking an experienced Russian-speaking developer to create a mobile application for iOS and Android from scratch, including the necessary backend infrastructure.

Considering long-term cooperation with a fixed monthly payment.

What is already done

• Mobile app design in Figma. • Well-developed product concept, user scenarios, and business logic. • Stripe account for setting up payment infrastructure. • Separate work is being done on the Burtz website.

Previously, the application was developed on Cordova, but the decision was made to stop this development and switch to a modern mobile stack.

The new version is being created entirely from scratch, without using previous code.

Preferred technology stack

• React Native + TypeScript — mobile application for iOS and Android. • Supabase / PostgreSQL — database, authorization, and file storage. • NestJS / Node.js — server-side business logic as needed. • Stripe / Stripe Connect — payments, commissions, and payouts. • REST API / Webhooks. • GitHub + CI/CD. • Automated testing.

Reasonable alternative architectural solutions are considered, including Flutter, if the developer can explain their advantages in terms of performance, security, support costs, and future scalability.

Preference is given to modern technologies that ensure long-term application support and independence from a specific developer.

Development Organization

Transparency of the process and professional development management are mandatory conditions for cooperation.

Expected work format:

• Initial study of Figma and technical requirements. • Assessment of the full project scope, budget, and deadlines. • Preparation of a monthly development roadmap. • Division of the project into stages and sprints lasting 1–2–4 weeks. • Task management via GitHub Projects / Issues or a similar system. • Regular commits and Pull Requests with descriptions of changes. • Constant customer access to the repository and development history. • Regular demonstrations of the working application. • Provision of test builds for functionality testing. • Ability to leave comments, remarks, and requests for fixes. • Acceptance of results for each stage. • Automated checks and testing. • Documentation of architecture, API, and key technical decisions.

All source codes, repositories, database, infrastructure, and development results must be under the company's control from day one.

Cooperation Format and Payment

Seeking a developer for long-term work with a fixed monthly payment. Someone who will immerse themselves in the project and become part of the team.

Before starting cooperation, it is necessary to study the project, realistic timelines, and the required workload.

After agreeing on the timeline and roadmap, we will distribute the work by months with a fixed monthly payment and specific expected results.

A contract with agreed-upon obligations, deadlines, acceptance procedures, and transfer of rights to development results is provided.

The amount of monthly payment is discussed individually depending on the developer's experience, workload, and project assessment.

After the MVP launch, continuation of cooperation for platform development and support is possible and desirable.
