RESPONSIBILITIES
We are developing the network platform for cloud.ru cloud.
The Evolution CNI team is responsible for developing a network plugin (CNI) for Kubernetes that:
- integrates Kubernetes clusters with the cloud network (VPC)
- implements network policies, routing, and balancing
- is the foundation for building cloud-native networking (eBPF, overlay/underlay, LB)
Our goal is to build a modern, high-performance, and scalable cloud provider-level network platform.
- Forming and developing the product vision for the Evo CNI network plugin in the cloud;
- Managing the product roadmap: prioritizing tasks, balancing business value and technical development;
- Working with stakeholders (engineers, architects, related teams, business) and gathering requirements;
- Forming and verifying hypotheses, working with product metrics (reliability, performance, adoption);
- Leading the product from idea to production: decomposing tasks, participating in planning, controlling delivery;
- Participating in architectural design together with technical leaders (CNI, dataplane, integration with cloud network).
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager;
- Ability to form a product vision and development strategy;
- Experience working with engineering teams and understanding the development process.
- Understand how Kubernetes and its networking work (CNI, services, ingress);
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure / Yandex cloud);
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, overlay networks VXLAN/EVPN, Geneve);
- Experience with infrastructure or platform products (IaaS / PaaS);
- Experience launching or developing low-level / platform products.
