We are now opening the position of System Administrator of Virtualization + NSX :
What will you need to do?
- Administer and develop the VMware vSphere and VMware NSX-T platform in our data centers.
- Support and develop IaC, CaC (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) practices — minimum manual actions, maximum automation.
- Configure and maintain infrastructure: servers, storage systems, FC switches.
- Prevent and eliminate failures in virtualization and network infrastructure systems.
- Ensure information security requirements.
- Interact with development and operations teams.
The colleague we are looking for:
Knowledge:
- Principles of VMware vSphere and VMware NSX-T operation (this is a mandatory requirement!).
- Principles of network construction and network protocols ( BGP, OSPF), basics of working with Cisco network equipment.
- Ubuntu OS or other Linux as a user.
- One or more automation languages: PowerShell/Python/Bash.
Skills:
- Implement from scratch and administer at an expert level (3+ years) environments for high-load systems (24×7):
- VMware (multiple clusters in 3 data centers).
- NSX-T (microsegmentation, distributed firewall, routing, IDS, IPS).
- Configure servers, storage systems, and FC switches using IaC.
- Automate routine tasks using scripts. CI/CD experience.
- Optimize infrastructure for high load.
- Work with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana) and logging systems (EFK).
- Read technical documentation in English.
Will be a plus:
- Experience operating high-load 24×7 systems.
- Work with cloud providers (VMware Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- CI/CD experience.
- Knowledge of Cisco/MikroTik network equipment.
- Certifications for the VMware product family.
