We are looking for a Middle-level Performance Engineer for a banking project. Tasks include the full cycle of performance testing: tool development, targeted runs, metric collection and analysis, error tracking, and reporting.
Mandatory Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in performance testing
- Java: Core, multithreading, JVM/GC basics.
- Experience in developing performance testing tools.
- Hands-on experience with JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools.
- Understanding of metrics: RPS/TPS, latency, throughput, error rate, percentiles.
- Linux, SQL, Git, CI/CD.
- Experience collecting and analyzing business and hardware metrics from application servers and databases.
Responsibilities
- Conducting performance testing on the System.
- Developing performance testing tools.
- Performing targeted test runs in accordance with the performance testing methodology.
- Identifying and tracking errors in the task tracking system; retesting errors.
- Conducting performance testing of the System when the System version changes.
- Updating and improving metric collection: collecting business and hardware metrics from application servers and databases.
- Collecting and analyzing results and metrics from targeted test runs on the System.
- Generating a report on the performance testing results.
